Ipswich have scored ten more goals than Boro despite their xG being less than one better than Boro's, and they've conceded five fewer goals despite their xGA being just 0. 5 better off. McKenna admitted there are 'similarities in how we want our teams to go about things'. That's clear to see in many aspects, most notably the tactical plan.
